It is now possible to receive your Aqualectra bill online in Curaçao, and registration is simple. This article first explains some of the benefits of receiving your bill online and then walks you through the registration process.
Benefits of viewing your bill online:
- View your bill immediately at any time;
- See your payment history and current balance;
- View and pay bills from anywhere in the world;
- Compare your usage with others in your area;
- No longer depend on delivery by C-Post;
- Better for the environment, with the option to receive bills online only.
To register, you will need an Aqualectra bill and the identification document you used when applying for your Aqualectra connection.
Registration process:
- Click this link to open the registration page for Aqualectra’s MiKuenta, which means “my account.”
- Complete all fields. Under “account number,” enter the “Number di Kuenta” shown on your bill. As shown in the image below, this number contains eight digits. Under identification, enter the ID number shown on your sedula in the format YYYYMMDDNN, without periods. If you used your passport and cannot create an account, contact Aqualectra and ask them to add your ID number as the identification method in their system. You should then be able to create the account a few days later.
- Check your email and confirm your email address.
- Log in at aqualectra.com
Take some time to explore MiKuenta and its available features. For example, you can give someone “Guest Acces”, such as a tenant or property manager. You can also add multiple Aqualectra connections and manage everything in one place. In addition, you can receive an SMS or email each month when a new bill becomes available.
